VIRTUAL FIREWALL
Add a virtual deployment option alongside the appliance range. VM licence pricing is calculated from required CPU resources and network interfaces.
Deploy a dedicated firewall VM on a compatible virtualisation platform. Confirm virtual NIC drivers, vSwitch/VLAN connectivity, disk layout, CPU allocation and the exact supported software image before rollout.
VM licence pricing is calculated from the required CPU resources (vCPU/core allocation) and number of network interfaces. The quotation states the agreed resource allowance, licence term and selected options.
Size CPU, RAM and storage for concurrent sessions, VPN encryption, inspection, proxy/cache workload and report retention. Confirm how virtual interfaces and VLANs count towards licensing, and request a licence review before increasing the licensed allocation.
Request a second VM/HA design where supported. Hypervisor, network and storage failure domains must be considered together; redundant-VM entitlement and compatibility are agreed separately.
HOSTING-PROVIDER SOLUTIONS
Choose AZTCO Edge under a special provider licence designed to keep costs manageable, or deploy a dedicated AZTCOFW VM for each customer. Customer VM licensing is calculated from required CPU resources and network interfaces.
A provider-edge firewall option with a special licence for ISPs and hosting providers, designed to help keep protection costs manageable as deployments grow.
Deploy AZTCOFW in a dedicated virtual machine for each customer environment. Each VM licence is calculated from the required CPU resources and number of network interfaces.
